Cupcake Minimums

If you select flavors we normally bake on the day of your order you may select as many flavors as you like with no minimum requirement for any flavor. If you would like a flavor we do NOT normally bake on the day of your order, there is a minimum requirement of 2 dozen regular and 4 dozen babycakes per flavor. You may also choose a cupcake+frosting combo from the daily flavors on the day of your order without minimums.

Customize

We can customize your cupcakes to coordinate with your theme and color scheme, and make your party extra special! We DO NOT** tint our frosting but we can offer a wide range of colored sugars instead.  We DO NOT write on cupcakes, instead we offer fondant letters. For custom orders, may we suggest colored sugar sprinkles & pearls, non-pareils, gold or silver dragees, candied flowers, fondant cut-outs (monograms, letters, numbers, flowers, shapes, etc), French chocolate sprinkles, M&M’s, jelly beans and on and on…the possibilities are endless! Most of these are included in the cost, but some customization fees vary from $.10/cupcake and up depending on the request.

**Lightly tinted frosting is available in a few select colors. There is a 3 dz minimum per color. To add color on less than 3 dz, we suggest the colored sugar sprinkles as a great option.

The full selection of cupcakes are ready by 11 am. Cupcakes sell fast, so come early!

Walk in orders are limited to 2 dozen with a maximum of 6 cupcakes per flavor…please. Why you may ask? Well it’s because we bake in small batches and it does take time to create our cupcakes. Also, as a small business we don’t have a baker on site all day. So, hypothetically, if we had someone come in and request 3 dozen cupcakes of 1 or 2 flavors, we may then be sold out of that flavor. Having this rule gives us a chance to keep up with the demand. That being said, we would love to take your order for more than 2 dozen (see below for details)!

Cupcake orders larger than 2 dozen are deemed as a special order and require 48 hour notice for Monday thru Thursday orders and a 5 day notice for Fridays & Saturdays. Custom cupcake orders require at least a 10 days notice, regardless of the day of your order. This, however, does not always guarantee your order will get placed depending on how busy we are.

Nomélie Cupcakes is a really small shop, and we are known for our quality and style of cupcakes. So, naturally it’s our top priority.

During peak wedding season (May-October) and holidays, we limit the amount of custom orders that we take. We do this to maintain the quality we are known for. But we always have a good selection of cupcakes available every day for people to come by the shop and purchase.
